About

I used to write when I was little, but then, as I like to say, life got in the way. After finishing high school I went to university to get my degree and then went on to get a PhD. There was no time or space in my head for writing. Or if there was, I had no energy left to try to think about writing anything that was not work-related.

But now I'm almost over my PhD. I'm writing the final chapters of my Thesis and thinking about what is next. I remembered that used to love writing and thought why not? I will have more free time to do it. But I was lacking practice. So I decided to search the web for writing prompts.

And I found this webpage, Sarah Selecky's daily writing prompts. She has very good advice that I plan to follow. She says to write for ten minutes a day. You can always spare ten minutes (so true!!). Write by hand, in a notebook.

It has inspired me to pour the results of this exercise in this blog so I can look back and see all the content that ten minutes a day give me, following her writing prompts that come each morning to my inbox. Thank you Sarah for inspiring people!

The results posted in the page are unedited. Just copied from the notebook where I wrote them.

Let's see how I do!
